Stby and Teaming with AI are running a two-month online participatory study with the aim of developing our continuous understanding of AI/human collaboration.
What’s involved?
Between 1 April to 31 May 2025, we will send an email each week to remind all participants in this study to send us a reflection on their AI use, if something meaningful has happened.
We are using an online tool, VideoAsk, to collect stories and reflections on people’s experiences with using AI in a teamwork setting. Each response is submitted to us individually and participants will not see each other’s responses.
The line of questioning is to encourage you to reflect on a meaningful experiences with AI in an open way. The tool will prompt you to share your thoughts on what tasks you or your team were trying to complete with AI, the AI tools you were using, reflections on the outcome, and how this collaboration with AI impacted your team.
To best suit everyone’s communication styles, responses can be given in a format of your choice: text, audio or a video recording.
On weekly basis, we will pick a few interesting case study to share with the participants, after anonymising the data, so that all participant can learn from each other’s stories as well.
Your data
When signing up, we would ask for your name and email. We only use these information to send you weekly reminder emails. We will not share these personal information with anyone outside the research team at Stby.
As for the data we collected from you on the stories and reflections given to us in the format of text, audio, or video. These will be anonymised before used as case study – any mention of person’s name, company name, or information that identifies an individual will be removed. We only use the stories and reflections you share with us to improve our understanding of how AI impacts team collaboration at work.
Participation is voluntary. You can withdraw from the study at any time. You can request to remove the data you have already shared with us by informing us via email.
