\"\"<\/a>On March 21th 2013 a new book was launched by Froukje Sleeswijk Visser. The book is the result of a think tank at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering, Delft University of Technology with a group of 25 master students, 8 staff and 9 design practitioners.<\/p>\n

The book titled \u2018Service Design by Industrial Designers\u2019 is a critical reflection on recent developments in service design, specifically on the consequences for the education of a new generation of designers. It features several case studies and reflections on the mindset, methods and skills of designers including STBY\u2019s. STBY, infact, is also happy to have helped co-write one of the key chapters on the Prototyping stage in the design practice.<\/p>\n

The think tank, over the past three years, has been studying and researching organisations that are part of the longer term public-private partnership project in Netherlands ultimately intended to help improve the visibility and applicability of service design in relation to the Dutch economy.
