STBY was invited by the European AALIANCE project to facilitate a workshop on Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) Solutions in Eindhoven, Netherlands.\u00a0This workshop focussed on roadmapping enabling technologies that motivate and assist older people to stay independent and active for longer, preventing social isolation and promoting societal inclusion.<\/p>\n

The Coordination Action AALIANCE \u2013 funded by the European Commission, DG Information Society and Media, \u2013 coordinates the various activities of the European industry and research institutions in the field of Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) solutions. These are based on advanced Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the areas of ageing at work, ageing at home and ageing in the society.<\/p>\n

Building upon STBY\u2019s expertise with service innovation for care organisations \u00a0a \u2018design thinking\u2019 approach with design-driven methods and activities was used to facilitate collaborations and discussions within the multi-disciplinary teams of experts helping to identify AAL applications and scenarios.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
