Lili is an intern design researcher at STBY Amsterdam. Her interests are going out to find substantiated arguments for design decisions using qualitative and quantitative research, and translating this into manageable steps and information. She likes to find ways to navigate strategically through a complicated project and to include stakeholders in the design process.
Lili has just completed her Bachelor of Industrial Design at the Delft University of Technology, focussing her final project on market attractiveness, business modelling and sustainability of futuristic delivery services. She’s also enthusiastic about biomechanical engineering and the possibilities of biomimicry in design. In addition to her internship at STBY, Lili is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Strategic Product Design in Delft.
When she’s not working or studying you can find Lili doing outdoor sports, making music and connecting with friends. In the winter she is happiest skiing down the slopes of Austria, while in the summer she likes to sail the waters of the Netherlands or, when the conditions are right, the North Sea and beyond with anyone who is up for the challenge. If Lili would not be an industrial designer, she’d be a ski instructor.
