We are super proud and happy to announce that STBY & Edenspiekermann won the much coveted ‘Black Pencil’ award at the D&AD award last night. This prize recognises STBY’s project conducted for the NS Dutch Railways, in partnership with the design agency Edenspiekermann in 2013. We were rewarded in the category of Technological Innovation. The Black Pencils are awarded to signify outstanding achievement in the field. You can see more about the award night on the D&Ad’s site. This award comes at the heel of other awards that we won this past year including the Rotterdam Design Prize and the Sign Design for our Rail Transport project.
