Service Design Workout #3: Service Design for publishers

STBY and the Service Design Network Netherlands are organizing the third “Service Design Work Out” (SDWO) on March 27th in Utrecht.

In an interactive session we will explore how Service Design could contribute in the publishing sector. Many aspects in this sector are currently rapidly changing: think of changing distribution channels, changing consumer behavior and the impact of user generated content. How can publishers respond to these new circumstances?

To kick off this session we invited Sam Warnaars. Sam works at Sanoma Media, investigating new “non-traditional” channels for publishing content, such as mobile, tablets and connected TVs. Sam will share his perspective on the changing relationship between customers and publishers and the consequences for the industry.

The session starts at 18.30 at the Oudegracht in Utrecht (at “In De Ruimte”). In order to make an intensive exchange between the participants possible the number of participants is limited to 25. If you’d like to join please send a brief introduction of yourself and a relevant statement you’d like to discuss during the evening by e-mail to marc@servicedesignnetwerk.nl
