STBY was invited by Growinn to facilitate a half day workshop to introduce a group of managers from Rabobank the way Design Research can inform and inspire Service Innovation. This workshop was part of a 3 day executive training course for high potentials in the bank, who are being prepared for strategic management positions.
After a brief introduction we guided them through a series of exercises, giving them hands on experience with generating consumer insights from rich personal accounts gathered in fieldwork. They picked up very quickly on the methodology, and even managed to apply some of the insights on their own field of work. They came up with a few interesting new ideas for financial services.
