Bas speaks at Human Cities festival Brussels

How can visual stories help interdisciplinary design teams to step into the shoes of the future users of their designs? How can these teams develop relationships with these people? This is what Bas will address on 7 May during his invited talk at the Human Cities symposium in Brussels. To achieve social innovation, simple consultations of the people who will use the spaces and services we design is no longer enough. Instead, it is necessary to build relationships with some  of these future users and involve them deeply into the design and innovation process. The talk will have quite a bit of video in it and focus partly on Bas’s research into design documentaries at the Royal College of Art.
