Geke van Dijk was invited to speak on Service design and Open Innovation at the Service Systems Forum in Cambridge. This Forum takes place on a monthly basis at St. John’s College in Cambridge and i open for academics throughout Cambridge University. The forum is jointly organised by the Institute for Manufacturing and the Judge Business School.
In her talk Geke explained how methods and tools from social research help to secure the intention, so often heard in service design, to keep the human perpective at the centre of design processes. She illustrated this with examples from recent service design research projects.
