Passed by a fascinating sign on a lamp post in Shoreditch last weekend. A great initiative to offer free wifi to residents and local businesses in the area. I checked out the site. FON is apparently handing out 1000 free wifi routers to people with a broadband line and a willingness to share.If you live and/or work in Shoreditch, join should definitely join and contribute to the build up of this mash network for seamless online access.
