(Un)common Ground is an international research network exploring the practice of creative, cross-sector collaborations. Case studies of state-of-the-art projects on the crossroads of design, technology, business, science, arts and education are scrutinised in expert meetings and publications to uncover what characterises creative innovation. STBY is a member of the core editorial group that assembles the programme for Virtueel Platform Amsterdam and Utrecht School of the Arts. In September 2007 we organized the second annual expert meeting, where creatives from Brazil, South Africa, United Kingdom and The Netherlands presented their work and participated in group discussions. In April 2007 we published the book Uncommon Ground (BIS publishers, Amsterdam). (NL-UK, 2006-2007)
