CitiTag

STBY participated in two pilots of the multi-player electronic tagging game CitiTag, developed by Yanna Vogiazou from the Open University and HP labs / Mobile Bristol. The experiences of the players were captured on video while they were experimenting with the real-life mobile game. Only recognizable by their PDA usage and playful behaviour, the players blended in with everyday life on St Augustin’s Parade in the city centre of Bristol. Their experiences were evaluated in a post-hoc focus group, which led to improvements in the user interface and technological set-up of the game. (Milton Keynes and Bristol, 2004)
