Last Thursday we received a prestigious Sign Design award from the Sign Design Society. This prize recognises a project STBY conducted for the NS Dutch Railways, in partnership with the design agency Edenspiekermann in 2013. We were rewarded in the category of Product Innovation and Technology for the project Dynamic Boarding information at train platforms. Our project was up against projects from around the world. We are thrilled to see the efforts of Design Research excelling in Service Innovation and producing world class outcomes.
STBY and Edenspiekermann are also nominated for the Rotterdam Design prize for the same project. The voting for that competition is still open. You can browse through some amazing design projects here and vote on your favourite.
