Originally from Portugal, Mario graduated from Lisbon with a background in engineering, before heading to the US to spend a year working as a researcher with UC Davis. Returning to Europe to complete a Masters degree in Management, Mario joined STBY in order to learn more about the service design sector. He is also slowly learning to appreciate English tea, having initially been horrified by the barbarous practice of adding milk.
